Say Anything is a seminal American indie rock and emo-pop band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2000. Fronted by singer-songwriter Max Bemis, the group is celebrated for its theatrical sound, biting sarcasm, and intensely personal, hyper-literate lyrics. They achieved massive critical and commercial success with their 2004 masterwork, ...Is a Real Boy. In 2026, the band remains a powerful force in the alternative scene, touring globally and releasing music through Dine Alone Records.
